On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman
As a former music teacher, any book that has music notes on it gets me excited. This book is one of those special books that you will keep even after your kids are grown because it reminds you of how sweet they were as infants. The book focuses on showing children how special they are because no one like them has ever been born before. It has the sweetest rhymes, but I have to say my favorite part are the illustrations. They are beautiful and really capture the essence of something special happening on that "night you were born."
